The Capstone Program at Point Park College requires the student to complete 5 semesters at Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and then complete upper division focus and electives over 2 additional semesters (full-time) before graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
More traditional approaches to earning the bachelor's degree can be completed at the following schools:

• Thiel College, Greenville PA (B.A. Degree in Business Administration)
• California University of PA, California, PA(B.S. Degree in Mortuary Science)
• Gannon University, Erie, PA(B.S. Degree in Mortuary Science)
• These last 3 programs would offer a typical 3+1 approach with 3 years being spent on the college campus and one year of studies at PIMS.
